Good evening! I recently 'upgraded' to Windows 10 and ever since doing so my card runs a little hotter. Prior to Windows 10, I was using 8.1 and my card idled below 30 degrees Celsius. When I played games it usually sat around 50 degrees Celsius. For a while there I thought the fans were broke because I never heard them, =P. After switching to Windows 10, my card now idles around 34 degrees. Within a minute of loading up World of Warcraft, the max temp hits 66 degrees. I haven't tested other games, though. My video card drivers are up-to-date. Is this possibly a Windows 10 issue; Should I revert back to 8.1?

Edit: I know the card is fine at 66 degrees, it just bothers me that there was a 10+ degree increase after switching to Windows 10.

Sounds like your card may be slightly clocked up at idle, check your clocks to see if they are higher than 135MHz on the core clock & 405MHz on the memory clock when idle. As far as in game temps go you may have went into an area that stresses the card more causing it to run hotter.

To add to that Windows 10 uses DirectX 12 which is diffrient from all other Windows versions. So the card will behave differently now and you may even see better performance in games among your other changes.
