I really, REALLY want to see how the new blades work just from a curious engineer's perspective. What are all those % better numbers compared to? Previous ACX cooler?

ROFL. They seem louder than other brands. Quote: Even though power consumption is very good, noise levels aren't that impressive.
I find the EVGA's GTX 970 SC ACX quite noisy in both idle and load; other board partners are delivering much better noise output results by offering a semi-passive cooling solution that turns the fans off in idle and during light gaming, while operating them very quietly otherwise. Could be a more aggressive fan curve, so we can't say anything at the moment. The numbers (250% lower fan speed etc) make no sense!

I think it's great that over the years EVGA has had plenty of contests to give away products to loyal consumers. I don't like being forced to create a social media account just to do it now. Last contest I finally broke down and opened a Facebook account that lasted only 2 days. Even now that I colsed the account I am getting over 100 spam emails per day that were not my usual stuff that I get. Blech to social garbage.

Awesome yeah! Hey can I please order a brand new video card and get the old, outdated version of ACX? Please? I mean, it just makes sense to offload excess inventory and ship the 970 with both ACX and ACX 2.0 because, you know, most folks would want that older tech on their brand new power efficient 970 GTX, right?
C'mon..... what a load of crap. I can see different fan designs altogether, but who would CHOOSE older fan tech on a brand new purchase? Pffft seriously....

Yup, that's all I do with all the social networking sites. It does look kinda messed up though cause all my posts are contests so it makes me look like some freak/cheat/fake account etc.... lol

I want to thank you evga for all these giveaways and great products. I thought it was going to be the 880 lol. Im so excited about all the new features, 4k on 1080p, new lighting,etc all great new things that i didnt even expect at all. Then i knew Nvidia's #1 partner wasnt going to come out beast mode. The new acx cooler cools so much more better than the previous(26% more cooler, 36% more quiet for you quiet people, and a huge 400% increase in life) thank you evga those are huge leaps and the look is sexier than ever(not saying the original was ugly lol).
