    The promotions page says,
  • Purchase any graphics card from the list above on or after 1/9/14 from EVGA.comI would take that word for word and translate it to buying from EVGA.com.

I have only personally seen the black foam and antistatic bag for the 780ti, but you can always jump on YouTube and get a glance at unboxings. The blast packs I have seen only come on the lower end cards.

The PCB question I am unsure of.   I would compare the stripped images,  found on Google or any other search engine,  and compare the original NVidia pictures,  the EVGA and then other brands.   As they aren't custom PCBs,  I think they are the same on all,  and EVGA marks the ones they SC or something.

I've noticed EVGA GTX 780 Ti PCBs with either the EVGA logo or the NVIDIA logo above the goldfingers. Does this hint at any other differences?

I'm curious about this also. If the GTX 780 Ti (03G-P4-2881-KR) is a genuine reference card why is it stamped with the EVGA logo above the gold fingers?

Mine GTX580 have too EVGA sign, but to me that's better somehow.
My card is exactly like this, and in same sponge as on picture

I think that too. I saw EVGA GTX580 example and on clamshells and like pulp molding paper.
Everything cardbox as motherboard, pulp molding, foam everything is better than clamshells.
But foam on GTX780Ti KP Classified is much higher quality than in past years. It's best package I saw in life.
Special when you remove card from foam and she is still in antistatic foil, heavy and tight, air still didn't enter with sticker.
    That moment is best.

For the record, I got a 03G-P4-2883-KR (780 Ti SC) and it has an Nvidia branded PCB. The packaging was antistatic bag+foam, which is great. I think EVGA should drop clamshells forever.
Something else I find interesting, is that I've seen images on the net of 780 Tis with silver heatsinks like the 780.

For example, Neweggs generic picture for the 03G-P4-2883-KR shows it with a silver heatsink. Has anyone ever seen an actual 780 Ti that came with a silver heatsink from the factory? This is just a mild curiosity of mine, although to be perfectly honest, the black heatsink makes the 780 Ti look cheaper than the 780, and it certainly won't 'age' as well (black shows up even a fine coat of dust). I would have been more than happy with a silver one, and maybe one day I will retrofit a silver heatsink.

I agree, the foam is much better and the clam shell should be dropped. Never seen a silver 780 ti. My regular titans are silver. I do like the black look better though.

I like black more too. Special on TITAN Black, black sign TITAN Black is nicest of all 4 models.

It's perfect card from every side you look.
It's good because NVIDIA didn't give us only Titan Black for 1000$ as only GK110 model.
I would die for one and at the end I would buy 100%.

No it's not soft like that. On 780 Classified series is tight and light.
And nice surface perfectly cut. Far better than that on picture.
Similar to styrofoam. I think such package as on Classy series can best protect hardware during transport too,
it's not only nice, it's very useful.  Package stay same weight as hardware.
Maybe from picture you can imagine what is material...but probably can hold much more weight than soft foam.

I personally own three different versions of EVGA 780 Ti (Reference Non-SC), if you guys are interested, i can get u some photos on here.

I can sum up the differences between these two versions in Packing and PCB:

    1. Golden-finger Logo:                                'EVGA'                        vs.                 'NVIDIA'
    2. Retail Packaging:                                  'Plastic clamshells'           vs.             'Foam + Bag'
    3. Some Screws on the Back:                   'Philip's screw'                 vs.                 'Star screws'
    4. Extract Prints Next to Golden-finger        'rev 2.0'                        vs.                   Blank
    5. Heatsink:                                            'Silver & sparse'               vs.              'Black & compact'

    This no.6 is ridiculous:
    6.  On the Front Side of the EVGA 780 Ti Retail Box, Some say '3-Way Sli', Some say '4-Way-Sli', Yes , I own this version as well, How embarrassed!!

I bought all these three 780 ti from amazon.co.uk, I will provide pictures laster.
Btw, i have sent these information via email to UK EVGA sale manager, he has not yet came back to me offically regarding these but he previously said on the phone about EVGA sometimes downgrade 780ti SC version to 780Ti due to stock level. On the amazon side, they have put down their evga 780ti non-sc version listing for investigation since they display '4-way' sli and sold me a '3-way'.

Were your cards purchased new from amazon? Which card uses the star screws, the one stamped with EVGA or the one stamped with NVIDIA? Thanks.

No, not all of them are new. one of them is used- like New condition. in more details:

    1. New, Purchased in Jan/2014, Nvidia Logo, Black Heatsink narrow hole Exhaust, Star Screws, Foam Packing, '4-way' on Box
    2. Used-Like-New, Purchased in March/2014, EVGA Logo, Silver Heatsink Big hole Exhaust, Philip's Screws, Plastic clamshells, '4-way' on Box
    3. New, Purchased on 5th/July/2014, Nividia Logo, Black Heatsink narrow hole Exhaust, Star Screws, Plastic clamshells, '3-way' on Box

I am waiting for the DPD collection tomorrow to return the Card I bought a few days ago, and amazon.co.uk is aware the '3-way' sli issue and currently putting 'ITEM UNDER REVIEW' on their listing.

Yes, I am sure '03G-P4-2881-KR' on all three. and the two I bought in January and March both can be registered with EVGA for warranty, and the refurb suspect has better performance and higher ASIC

The different logo on the PCB means that one of them is 100% NVIDIA reference including PCB, the EVGA branded one is the same component wise, but manufactured at a different facility, and the PCB is branded as EVGA.

Typically you will see the NVIDIA branded ones early on a product release, and EVGA ones later.

Performance, specs, features are identical on both though.
