I have the Classified and the 760 SC ACX. Both are great cards. The single classified is just splendid compared to 2 760 SLI tour. If you are going to do SLI, why not a pair of 770s?

Well I built this machine about 2 weeks ago thinking that it would dominate my old gtx 670 build (which it does not).  With the 760s I can pull off "slightly" higher settings, but not exactly what I was looking for.  It seems that the single 670 provided a much "smoother" gameplay experience.  Thus I bought the 780ti KP Classified looking to get that smoother gameplay back.  I just figured the 2 760s would have been overkill an there was no need to SLI anything higher.

I'm just trying to justify opening the 780ti, trying it out and gambling with a potential $860 return.  If I don't like it, I'm out $860.  But the "What if's" are KILLING me.

The what ifs killed me too... My third 780Ti Classified (Non KP) is on the way for Benchmarking..  My Little Brother still has the 2x760s I thought would be overkill.. but.. i haven't found anything I fully consider overkill just yet.  :-D

My mistake, I swear I read Valley not Heaven. I'll run Heaven tonight for a better comparison. Sorry about that!

heaven?  Did someone say Heaven...  Ha, I just ran them last night...

2x760 SC ACX

2x 780 Ti Classified (I know it isn't Single Card.. I will run Single Card this weekend when I get the new MOBO in and can turn all of the other cards off.)

760's suck.......nothing more than defective/gimped/disabled last generation 680's..........go with the single 780 ti........or sli a a pair of fully ENABLED GTX 770 GK104's for the same price.

760s are performance-wise between 660Ti/670, not 680. 770 is the old 680 tweaked with higher memory and core clocks.

Reread what I said. A GTX 760 IS A DISABLED/GIMPED/DEFECTIVE last generation 680.  Its a GK104 GPU with DISABLED smx/shaders................what do you think that translate into? A GIMPED GPU in REALITY.

But, "What If" you decide to take conquer the world O.o :-)  I am not saying go buy as many as you can.. Just know that a single 780Ti is going to give, above and beyond, much greater performance over all.

Yea I can agree with that.  But I will say, I am far more impressed with the single 780 ti.  Just a little let down that the SLI setup just didn't cut it for me.

Get a single 780 ti......then down the road add a second. 780 ti's in SLI ='s ultimate gaming experience.....especially on a gsync enabled high refresh rate monitor! =D

I found an old note of my 1080 run on my 760s, and my Valley score was 3340 with an average FPS of 79.8. Life conspired against me running Heaven yesterday, but I'll hopefully get a chance today at some point.
