Yes there is a new firmware now that fixes some issues wih losing in some boards. There at no other changes though. It has to do with PLX compatibility.

Will you please tell why EVGA has yet to publish this firmware?
We GTX690 customers deserve the same consideration, at least, as the GTX670 owners.

Hello!

I´m also having issues with my GTX 690. I would like EVGA to provide official information about how to update the BIOS. It´s the first time I do and I don´t want to make any mistake.

Why there is no official post about it? Maybe they are fixing more error...
 
Jacob, please, give us some information. We spent too much money in this card and it´s not working properly.

Its still not working. When I try to update the firmware from Z9PE-d8 ws board it gives me an error msg saying (check error.png)
 
I put the GPU on another PC and updated the firmware - got it back on the z9pe board still the same (check same old.jpg)
 
This was the first time I updated a firmware on any GPU. But I did check the update on the other machine.
 
Any Ideas - what might be going wrong.

Thanks Devild,
I already did that. So when I plugged it back in to the Z9PE board - it still did not start. so when I saw through the board VGA, it showed WDDM in front of GTX 690 in the device manager - with updated drivers i suppose but had a ! in front of both GTX 690 drivers. So I clicked on update driver again and now its stuck with the old one again i guess. It also does not start on the other computer anymore. Well it does start but there is no display.
 
Any Suggestions ?
 
Sad part is even now when i try to update firmware from z9pe board it shows me unconfigured driver msg in cmd prompt.
 
And the roll back driver button is disabled in the device manager.

1st ship is working fine
2nd chip (B) is stuck at 324Mhz. wont go up

I emailed EVGA CS a few days ago and requested a BIOS update to support UEFI and fast boot for Windows 8. I was sent a zip file with 2 update exe's within. Apparently one for each GPU. I ran both and restarted my machine, went into BIOS and turned CSM off. Restarted again and machine booted straight into Windows without issue. The only thing weird now is that I have two different firmware versions for the GPU's. I sent EVGA an email regarding this, see question and answer below. Does this seem correct to everyone?

I ran both updates and in Precision X I now have the following versions for each GPU:
GPU 1 - BIOS 80.04.1e.00.f0
GPU 2 - BIOS 80.04.1e.00.f1
Is this correct or should the BIOS versions be the same on each GPU?

Yo everybody,
 
I have an Asus P8z77 Premium with i7 3770K and 2x EVGA gtx 690s, and am desperate to get quad sli set up, but haven't had any luck so far. I suspect my answer might be to update the firmware of the cards, but I can't yet pm any of you to ask for the files coz I'm a forum noob
Any help would be much appreciated!

When looking at BIOS listings for the GTX 690, which of the following is newer:
 
80.04.1e.00.f0
or
80.04.1e.00.90
