Hi there. I have to be honest, I feel a bit hosed. I just bought the 2080 ti FTW3 from you guys on February 25th. Can I receive a code for Metro?

“Game code offer good beginning Tuesday, March 5, 2019 through Thursday, April 4, 2019 or while supplies last.“

As this is an NVIDIA direct promotion (with retailers issuing the code on NVidias behalf), it is unlikely that EVGA can deviant from the expressed terms and conditions that Nvidia has set forth.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the promo and that evga is at no fault. I'm just saying I feel hosed. If I'd had waited a week and a day, I would've been good. I don't even want Anthem lol.

I honestly have nothing but good to say about evga. I totally understand it doesn't have anything to do with them. Still feel hosed though, you know what I mean?

Only game worth going for is the new Metro since I'll be going for a 2070.

Delirious, I sincerely wish I could but it was notated as being part of a bundle when I redeemed BFV. It will forever sit on my Origin account to never be played...

You could attempt to contact the support through the chat service, I got approved for the promotion but mine was only a day off, not a week. Worth a shot though.

Edit: about to register this thing too, anyone want to throw me their rewards code to use?

So, I already own Anthem and BFV (prior purchase), and am contemplating buying another GPU. If I do, will I be able to register them under my son's Origin account? I've had problems with NVIDIA promotions in the past not allowing me to register games and I don't want to be hosed on this one.

I happened to pick up my 2080 from Frys on the 28th and yea, apparently they no longer take part in the game code program at all. Sigh. I actually kinda want to give Anthem a try.

Try creating a new account under your sons info and keep that one apart from your main stuff.

Wow Nvidia's email verification system is a joke. Apparently I'm unable to log into the website through the verification link they send in the email. Looks like I might be unable to participate in this freebie program.

You still have time. You have to have the serial number for your card, and you can contact NVidia to see if they can help. It may be a temporary issue they are aware of.

Did you purchase from EVGA, and register your card, then follow the instructions on the redemption page?

I just tried to get my codes and was told by EVGA that they are out of them and are not expecting anymore, even though all the advertisements are up and messages via social media promoting them are still being made.

According to Nvidia, they should have been sent a quantity of codes for every card they have to sell.

Can someone find out where the disconnect is?

The codes were evidently refilled already.

Nvidia send out the codes for a set quantity. If EVGA gets more cards, they probably have to request more codes.. example, evga has 50 cards, Nvidia gives 50 codes... evga gets 50 more cards, they have to request 50 more codes. Nvidia doesn’t track when board partners shipment may come in, so if they are providing codes on stock levels, there will be fluctuations.

If I was told sorry, they'll be refilled in a bit just wait; that would have been fine. Being told looks like we ran out and doesn't appear that we'll be getting more in is an entirely different conversation.

And yes it seems to be working again at the moment.

Promotions are only for original purchaser/owner, they are not for second hand or refurb products.

The terms and conditions set by Nvidia say that the promotion goes into May. The “promotion is closed” banner May show up for a few different reasons, to include that you have not registered your card yet. Once you receive and register your card, check the promotion page again. Also, did you order directly from EVGA or from an Authorized Dealer? Just want to make sure, to make everything easier for you later.
