I like the look of that (and the specs).. nice and compact, good for me (claw grip). Currently using a Glorious Model O minus [link] and very happy with it (also uses Omron switches), but I'll give this X12 a try certainly.

It appears to be ambidextrous...that would certainly be interesting to me...

I wonder if they will release a wireless version? This version seems pretty beefy but a wireless version would work well with my setup even at the cost of latency

When can we expect it to go onsale?  I'd like to buy one to review on my Youtube channel as soon as it is available.  I like the duel sensors!

Just keep an eye on product page. Also look at retailers like Amazon/Newegg for sale. EVGA has sales all the time. Even free shipping which is really nice, when you can get it. :)

Just curious (asking for a friend lol), if someone were to plug this into a computer that does not have the Unleash software, do the LEDs just do a rainbow pattern? Do most of the buttons work under Windows's standard driver? What polling rate would it be operating at?

Said friend has been looking for a new ambi-mouse, but wants to use it at work where they can't install any software.

Yeah plug and play, default is rainbow usually (X12 not released yet so not 100% definite, but highly likely). Without the software to program buttons, the side buttons do browser page forward/back by default I believe. Up to 8K polling rate, but default is probably 1,000 which is pretty standard for gaming mice. Little button on top changes DPI, which is basically mouse sensitivity. All these things should work on Windows drivers I believe.

Thanks! Also, it looks like there's a button on the bottom. My X17 doesn't have that. I couldn't find any info to say what that does. If it was an "LEDs OFF" button...we may have a winner here for said friend lol

Edit: I got an answer from Jacob that the bottom button is a profile switch.

I posted a review of this mouse on my YouTube channel, Gen3D Tech.  Spoiler...best aiming mouse I have every used.  A few negatives, but over all a great gaming mouse for the money! Also in reply to the post above, the mouse is 75g's which I verified on my scale.

Good review.  I am left handed...so the issue with the ring finger on my left hand isn't an issue. It hugs the side of the mouse and I do forward and backward with my thumb.  Comfort wise...vs my Logitech G903, it is comparable at a 7/10.  As for the remainder of your review...I pretty much agree.  I have my lighting set to breathing...all in blue.  In order to achieve that...color one is blue and color two is black....then it breathes.  Thanks for spending the time

Thanks for posting the link.  I put a link in my post but for some reason it did not show up, and I did not check to see what the post looked like after posting it.   I have had a lot of people ask me about mice for lefty's, and there really is only a few that actually have buttons on the right side.  I am thinking of doing a round-up video of all the mice I have that would work for a lefty.  It's strange to me when a mouse is made in the Ambi style but they don't give you the buttons on the right like the Katana Superlight for example.  I have several mice missing the buttons on the right.

Normally products eventually come to Europe but I don't know for sure. I'm just a community moderator and do not work for EVGA. I just think the specs are good and the price is great as well as supporting right and left handed gamers so I would be surprised if it doesn't eventually show up in Europe.

It was already sold on the EVGA EU Shop a week or two after release, but they had no resupply ever since, and eventually removed them from the product list. Retailers still don't have any units anywhere (don't ask me why).
But you can order yours from the US Amazon, they are often 30-40-50% off in price, and shipping+impor/taxes is only about 10-20$. I have ordered two from there as a European already, they were still cheaper than they would be if i bought it in the EU for euro.

Well, I guess I'll have to upgrade, I use the x10 cabon it's a sweet mouse, heavy. Love the look. I have one left, the last rma they gave me a x17, I hate the feel. Guess I'll try the x12.... if I can get one...

Absolutely, i see you are in the US, so right now the white X12 is 20$ on Amazon US, never seen it this low, great time to grab one

    quick flicks. A USB 2.0 High-Speed 32-bit Arm Cortex-M33 core USB
