Actually, I think 3050 should be more powerful. More cores than the 2060/2060Super/2060 12GB, and it's 2nd gen RTX cores and 3rd gen tensor. Overall should be a little faster than 2060 series.

EDIT: Oh, and the 3050 runs G6 memory on a 256bit bus, so better than the 2060 12GB on a 192bit bus.

    EDIT2: Annnnnnd, I was wrong. 8GB of G6 on 128bit bus.

It's not like anyone's going to get it right away. The queue system is off; I've been trying since the launch of the 30 series to get a GPU and it's just not happening.

Nice, hoping we get a good early stock of them so that they aren't sold out immediately, but not getting my hopes up.

It seems to depend on your sku, i got a queue contact yesterday for one i made in august (had to drop it, hit a financial snag late last year), the one i had queue'd was a rather uncommon not overclocked sku so it seems to just depend on how many they manufacture.
Definitely wouldn't want to be on the queue list for the 3090 for example though.

As has been posted before, NVIDIA sets the release date and time.  EVGA will inform us when the queues for the new SKUs will open.  Elite members have the first 24 hours after NVIDIA's official release date and time.  After that, it's open to everyone.

Just follow the forums and the EVGA site and the information will be there eventually.

They didn’t say pricing, but I assumed TBA Lin the coming weeks and it will be manufacturer dependent. I doubt NVidia actually makes a “founders” version to set as the MSRP.

It will most likely be LHR, but they didn’t directly say.

The other interesting thing would be that the RTX would mean it would have DLSS support. While we will need to see benchmarks to see how well it handles DLSS it could make a huge performance increase with little to no noticeable loss of quality. This isn't something the 2060 can do.

It's not like anyone's going to get it right away. The queue system is off; I've been trying since the launch of the 30 series to get a GPU and it's just not happening.

Most cards in the queue are fulfilling 2021 orders now: not too many 2020 entries left. So maybe I we'll all have our 30-series by the end of 2022?

128-bit bus? Should be around 1070 performance - hopefully it's reasonably priced.

Yeah, I've been on the waiting list since last January. I got an update in late June about moving me from the old style cards to the new LHR ones. Nothing since then. If anyone told me 5 years ago that I would have to wait over a year to get a new graphics card, I would have called them insane.

I'm still on the waiting list for two 3080's one from 09/2020 and the other for 07/2021.  6 months and I can celebrate the one anniversary on the '21 card.  2 months for 1.5 years on card #1.  At least I have a 2070 Super.

No real point in speculating... XX50's are usually pretty bad. 1650 was like 3+ years later and still couldnt beat a 3GB 1060. We'll know when its out but best not to count on anything in this range.
