While it might be a good thing for some, I find it sad that we have to finance computer parts.
At least this good "12 month payment option with 0% Financing."

was thinking this was awesome as I am in Canada and Affirm previously wasnt available to me but I cannot get past the pre-qual screen when creating an account bc it wants a US SSN which I obviously dont have. Is there a way around this or is including Canada in the Ts & Cs a typo?

thx

US Passport number?  Only US Citizens and US Nationals can own a US Passport.  Does entering a Canadian Passport number work on the Affirm page?  That would be surprising.  I guess it is worth a try.

I do not carry a US or CDN passport as I am a British National carrying a British passport. I am sure you can understand that I am extremely hesitant to input my passport number. Is there someone at evga/affirm I can reach out to?

I think your right, it must be a typo. I was thinking this was great as well when I read "Participants must be 18 years of age or older, and must reside in the contiguous United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Canada." and when I went to sign up to make my purchase through Affirm I found it was a no go... ah well, bummer. I guess they will lose a lot of sales by not including Canada, they just lost ours.

I said US Passport number. It asks for a US SSN or Citizen ID. I don't know how a Canadian Passport number or British Passport number could qualify as a US Citizen ID number.

I don't know why you are so sensitive.

I can't get the 0% option to appear during checkout. Every time, it shows the 29% (gag me please) interest rate, so it just looks like a standard crap loan from Affirm.

Anyone else having this issue? I was ready to pull the trigger, but I'm not going to without that promotion. It just started yesterday, surely it isn't over already.

Folks, please realize that the EVGA page very clearly states that Qualification is subject to Affirms policies.

Please note they link you to Affirms Terms of Service.

Please note Affirms terms of service #1.3 states the user must be a resident of the United States.

1.3. Your Eligibility.
To be eligible to use the Services, you must be at least 18 years old (19 years old in Alabama or if you're a ward of the state in Nebraska) and a resident of the United States or its territories. Residents of Iowa and West Virginia are not eligible for the "Buy with Affirm" service. You represent and warrant that you are eligible to use the Services.

If you have any questions about amAffirms policy, the terms state to please contact Affirm.

As the loan would be for a resident of the US, EVGA May allow shipping to US residents residing in Canada under work visas and such. That part is the only grey area here. The other questions are pretty cut and dry through Affirms terms of service.

Contact Affirm and ask why it isn’t showing the offer. It’s Affirms webpage, so it may be an error on their side.

Make it 24 months, i buy some tech from ya

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.
