Is there any difference, other than clocks, between the XC Black (06G-P4-1261-KR) and XC Gaming (06G-P4-1263-KR)? Cooler, binning, etc?

This naming scheme and all of these different models is getting ridiculous.

NVIDIA is using Intel Processors as their model for product naming!

the GTX 1660Ti will be offered as an option in the StepUp program (in Europe)? It doesn't appear right now.

This looks backwards, as well as the Slot Info on this page https://www.evga.com/articles/01302/evga-geforce-gtx-1660-ti/
Naming conviction is now at best confusing but then when you look closer the 2.75 Card it is a Short Card.
That is the XC is a Short Card and the XC Ultra is a Long Card.
Page is also not working under IE 11 on Windows 7.

Links do not work here under IE 11, they do work under Firefox on Windows 7

    Question to ask?
Why did you only use 1x DP + 1x MDHI and DVI. Limit to only 3 monitors?
MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, Zotac are using 3x DP + 1xHDMI
Which means cant even use this card at all. require 4 connection.

A DVI-D Port is not Pointless and because this Card has this DVI-D Port will be getting one or two.
There are a lot of Gamers that have Monitors that have Only VGA/DVI-I Ports and DVI-D Ports on them.

Sorry, more why limit to only 3 connection. If you looked at the GTX1060, with DP and hdmi with DVI. Had option to run more than 3 monitors.

Maybe because it only supports Max Monitors Supported: 3.
If you need more than 3 you should be buying a higher grade Graphics Card IMO.
I could me the limits of the Turing GPU architecture and if you want more then you will need to pay more.
GeForce® GTX™ 1660 Ti graphics cards are powered by the Turing GPU architecture.
This gives you higher performance compared to previous-generation graphics cards.

1660 supports upto 4 monitors. Use triple + TV.
single monitor gaming. other monitor being used.

triple slot is going to be an issue for ITX build. That alone is also a problem.

They got their branding backwards.  The Ultra should have been their thicker cooler and triple slot LIKE in their other models and the regular XC the thinner cooler and dual slot.

Reviews place it at 1070 like performance

It will use less energy & perform much better than your 970

Will the XC (shorter cards) fit in the Hadron Air case or no? Mostly concerned with the lining up of the mounting bracket.

So far, I don't think anyone has added the card to the FAH supported graphics card list yet, or if they did, I'm not aware of any scores posted yet.

I would suspect it to fall somewhere in the middle of the GTX1060 6G, and the non-Ti, GTX 1070.

A rule of the thumb on these Pascal and Turing cards,
When you multiply CPU cores X CPU frequency X memory interface X memory Speed,
And divide that number by 7500,
You'll get pretty close to avg PPD count.

If applied here, and deducting from the specs:
    GTX 1060 6G, 1280 cores x 1,7Ghz (2200), 192 bit x 8GBPS (1536) memory, 120W, ~$200USD, 450k PPD
    GTX 1660 6G, 1536 cores x 1,7Ghz (2725), 192 bit x 12GBPS (2304) memory, 120W, ~$290USD, ~830k PPD
    GTX 1070 8G, 1920 cores x 1,6Ghz (3225), 256 bit x 8GBPS (2048) memory, 150W, ~$400USD,  850k PPD
    RTX 2060 6G, 1920 cores x 1,6Ghz (3225), 192 bit x14GBPS (2688) memory, 160W, ~$360USD, 1150k PPD

Probably just a little slower than the regular (non-ti) 1070, but definitely an improvement on price, performance per dollar, and energy consumption!

No because it is triple slot, you will have to use the dual fan model.

EVGA and Asus have always been my highest performing cards.
EVGA achieves this through larger cooling elements.
However, if you want to install a card in a constricted space, limited by card length and thickness, you'd probably have to get a PNY, Zotac or MSI card.
They are smaller, but also will hit thermal throttling under not even full loads.
    So your performance will suffer.
The 1660ti should be able to run with a single fan dual slot cooler.
