I am extremely curious about that LED screen!!!!!!!! Old laptop from Windows Vista period, 9600GT graphics, had a LED screen like that near the keyboard spitting out stats and other visuals. 100% dope af if that shows up again. MSI tease looks fascinating as well. Excited for X299 but I am worried about price.

Looking good! Looks like u.2 is finally dying off as well doesn't look like any of those boards had one.

Still praying for non bottlenecked m.2 raid 0

Ugh read that the m.2 raid is still going to be bottle necked by the pch. Geez talk about the industry just not getting it.

overkill if your thinking mass storage device to put a high end Chip in

as a viable high end gamer with no HD or SSD... yeah great idea - low power less room used - smaller profile - carry on your backpack - if you can provide the power
more as a portable gamer for lan parties

I last night ordered a Dan A4-SFX chassis, so X299 on ITX is quite interesting to me. Not so much for portability as reduced desk footprint. I have only SSDs, so that may not work for everyone.

The asus boards are nuts.  I like the look of the EVGA, and my x99 classified has had 0 issues and was simple to setup and OC.

Nicest boards are ASUS Rampage VI Extreme and ASUS Rampage VI APEX...

ASUS Rampage VI APEX is amazing, it's beautifull board.
Depend of price many people will save money and choose APEX.
