Does the Dark board support Tridentz (Samsung) Double Capacity dram modules?

32x 4 = nice!

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I used to mine. Now I compute.

No 32GB or Samsung Memory is showing here as supported https://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/
What is the Full Model of this Memory?
Also it can make a difference between Processors, what CPU are you using?

So, this is going into my “Rachel” build.

Just bought the i9 9940x to be paired with my existing 4x 16 3200 Tridentz. The build is going to be a substantial project for me. Purchased a boatload of brass pipe and fittings from Bitspower.

G.Skill Tridentz part number: Memory Model F4-3200C14D-64GTZDCB

I would imagine it would work. Was able to cram into my Lenovo T480 2x 32 gb for a total of 64gb and it immediately recognized and takes advantage (those were Samsung sodimm ddr4)

High performance compute can be a bit trickier. But I think the Dark is 4-channel native so I imagine it should work... hmmm

Getting psyched for new build. Will post some part shots tonight or tomorrow. Will be interesting.

I used to mine. Now I compute.

I would keep this all in one Thread. Meet "Rachel"
Best of luck with this memory.

"Trident Z RGB DC modules are only compatible on the following ASUS motherboards: ROG Z390 MAXIMUS XI APEX, ROG MAXIMUS XI GENE, and ROG STRIX Z390-I GAMING."

Trident Z RGB DC (Double Capacity) series is a new class of high-capacity DDR4 memory, doubling the conventional 16GB module capacity with 16 memory IC chips to a whopping 32GB per module with 32 IC chips, substantially increasing memory storage. This impressive high-capacity module is also RGB-enabled based on the popular Trident Z RGB design. Created in close partnership with the ASUS ROG team, the Trident Z RGB DC memory kits are designed to work specifically on ASUS Z390 2-DIMM slot motherboards.
