Yes, many people are satisfied thanks to improvement of Z390 Dark and X299 Dark compare to previous EVGA motherboards.
Maybe still have chance to 10th Gen work on Z390 Dark. I didn't saw information about compatibility only with Z490 chipset.
    People still don't know.

As always, anytime someone asks about products that haven't been officially announced by Intel (or NVIDIA), it results in a "we don't know what you're talking about" post.

Sometimes upcoming products might be shown off at global shows or on Jacob's or EVGA's social media, but you won't find us commenting about stuff here in the forums.

    Hello!

Any speculation on whether a z490 Dark motherboard will be made for the upcoming Comet Lake S?

EVGA would probably be under a NDA .... if such MB were being considered

It seems Comet Lake will be a new LGA 1200 socket.

The Dark motherboards have always been attractive to me. I was considering the recent x299 Dark sale, but if EVGA were to make a z490 Dark then I will definitely wait

It's expected to show in Q1 2020. We will know for sure in January once CES is live. If nothing is said in CES, it's likely we won't see anything until the second half of 2020.

I see this topic is a few months old how ever I just started researching 10gen and z490

sure , lol ,, please with all do respect don't let the buyer know any thing so they can plan on waiting or move on to another company , u all make me lol,,
I can point out one thing that is discouraging on the evga z490 mobo , with what info I have read already pci express is still 3.0 ,, a lot of the other mobo company's z490 boards are 4.0 although 10gen intel cpu r still 3.0 , 11 gen processor will be 4.0 which means new mobo and cpu if u go with a evga z490 ,  I use to think evga was a good company , evga has me wondering why they are going down hill instead of up hill ,,,

I also was disappointed with the lack of PCI-E 4.0.

Maybe with Z590 or whatever the next Dark will be based on...
