OK, I have 2 8 gig sticks Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 for Intel 100, Red LED (CMU16GX4M2C3200C16R) I was going to put another 16 in but it would cost almost as much as getting 32 gigs of CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMW32GX4M2C3200C16

Will they work together? it looks like the exact same ram except one is RGB and the other is just red.

Asus RIVE
Intel 3960x
Corsair ax1200
Coolmaster CosmosII
Mushkin pc3 16 gigs
corsair H100
eVGA gtx 980 ti SLI
Windows 7 64

CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 and CMU16GX4M2C3200C16R kits have the exact same frequency, timing and voltage specs..They should work perfectly fine together..Yep.

If you have different RAM installed in your machine now, you should set the frequency, timing and voltage settings in the BIOS to [Auto] (if not already) before powering off and swapping in new RAM..Then either use an X.M.P. Profile or manually set the RAM to run at the full rated frequency, timing and voltage specs.

Edit/Add: And set the Command Rate (1T, 2T, 3T) to [Auto] also, for now.

I wouldn't try it. Ram from a different ram kit may not work with ram from another ram kit. Buying a ram kit guarantees compatibility with the ram included inside the kit. It does not guarantee compatibility with other ram from other kits.

+1.... if these were two different brands id be more hestitant to give you the thumbs up on this. Im running 2x2 Gskill PI's CAS6 1.6v, in my sig from 2011ish, and Gskill 2x4 Ripjaws X CAS8's 1.5v from 2017 just fine together as we speak. Although to make them behave I had to pull the Pi's, replace with the Ripjaws, run it to set them up manually, save it, shutdown, install the pi's, boot, go to bios and setup, save then reboot and all was fine. When I did it with the Pi's first it gave me a code that wasnt even listed in my mobo manual, like 45 I think it was, lol. Doing it the other way crashed it immediately with the Pi's in there first cause of the voltage and CAS, which I was hoping I could have pushed the Ripjaws to CAS6 with the extra voltage but they hated the 1.6v. I pretty much knew I was dreaming but I just had to see for myself, lol.
