I tried to download the Overclock utility... States that their terms of service has changed and I have to accept before being able to download.

I take exception to the following...

"Yes, I accept EVGA's Privacy Policy.  Furthermore, I also accept the processing of my personal data as set out in EVGA's Privacy Policy."

So in order for me to get support EVGA is systematically forcing me to allow them to sell my personal data?

    Hi Digital_Damage,

We updated our Privacy Policy back on May 25th to comply with GDPR, which included a number of new privacy terms.  Those privacy terms need to be reviewed and accepted in your member profile in order to access certain parts of the website, including the Precision X1 download page.  This is not simply for the Precision X1 page, but if you have not logged in for a long time you will see this on many pages on our website.

I suggest that you do review our Privacy Policy because, as our previous Privacy Policy also stated, we do not share your data with any third-parties for commercial purposes (i.e. we do not sell your data).  Of course, if you disagree with our Privacy Policy or do not wish to accept it, that is also your choice, but this will restrict some areas of the website.

With regards to the Precision XOC and Precision X1 download pages, we currently only track the number of downloads with a counter, but we don't track who is downloading the files or where they are downloading from.  However, since we do track some data, as noted here, it is subject to our Privacy Policy for EVGA.com Members.
