I am having the same problem on my PC. On my PC, no matter how many times I view a thread, or when I viewed it in the past, every single thread is labeled as "New". Also, on my PC, I cannot post any response to any thread, no matter when I try (no matter today or yesterday nor how many times I log in and out or refesh) as I get the same message. On my phone, it is keeping track of my view history just fine, and I can post replies. Very weird. My problem started around the same time as yours. I wonder what changed. Edit: Using Chrome on my PC, BTW. My Chrome is set to automatically clear all site data and cookies every time it is closed, but I have tried manually clearing cookies and site data too, and that makes no difference. Oddly enough, I typed the above from my phone (because I had no other option), but now it is letting me edit from my PC. I still can't post a reply, but I can edit a previously reply apparently. And, of course, even my edited reply is still labeled as "New". It seems that either there was a recent Chrome update which broke things, or a recent ASP Playground update which broke EVGA's forums in Chrome. Seems like this is another nudge pushing me to try Microsoft Edge.

^^ I had been having some similar issues recently [Chrome]. I couldn't reply to a forum thread or reply to a PM. Contacted EVGA they said they could post a reply as well as a PM reply on my account. I cleared cache and restarted, it has been working since. I was getting the permissions or something error, when trying to reply. Hope you get it sorted guys.

Wait, what? EVGA took control of your account for testing purposes? That is super freaky. Since proper password encryption algorithms make that impossible for even EVGA to do, that freaks me out big time. If I am understanding what you said correctly, either you willingly shared your password with EVGA, or EVGA's security process is screwed and we should all be worried in the event that someone gains access to that database. If properly designed, it should not be possible for EVGA's employees or administrator to hijack your session nor figure out a valid password to log into your account. .. Unless they changed your hash to a known hash matching a known password, logged in as you with the new password, tested, and then either reverted the hash or asked you to reset your password again. Still troubling. Please clarify. Greetings from Edge, by the way. I am going to give Edge a spin.

Maybe my wording wasn't the best. here is what was done: thank you for contacting the EVGA Customer Service Team. My name is Adam Bateham and I will answer your question today. Your Answer Hello, I was able to look into your member account and successful make a test post and also a test PM. Have you tried to clear your browser cookies and cache at all? Are you experiencing the issue on a desktop browser or on mobile? Please try logging out and logging back into your member account and try again. If you still continue to have issues, please provide us with a screenshot of the error and we would be happy to look further into this for you. Regards, EVGAYour Question From: To: <webmaster@evga.com> Subject:[External]Website forums won't let me send comments in forum threads or send PM's.
Hello, I have had an issue posting anything on the forums. I can type out a comment on a thread or type a PM, but when I click on send, it gives me an error about permissions or something. Here we go: Either the feature is disabled, or you do not have sufficient permission. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Like I said, my Chrome is set up to do that by default AND I tried doing it manually, and it didn't work for me. In fact, my cache is on a RAM drive, so every time I turn my computer off (at least daily), it goes without saying that the cache is cleared. Something is up with EVGA's forum.

I've been having issues with EVGA for the past week or so.. the main EVGA.com website is ok, but the forums often spit out the 'oops something went wrong' page and it takes several refreshes to get in, or else I have to come back later. This very thread just now I had to refresh 5-6 times to get it to display, and a couple more times to get the text input box to appear so I could type this message. Since the main site always seems to be working and only the forums have an issue, seems like they have a database problem... slow connectivity and timeouts. Getting a little frustrating, although it's not all the time, it's intermittent. I wonder if EVGA switched hosts recently, or their database server got switched...

A day later, checked again, and still broken for me in Chrome on my PC. Like I said before, my Chrome has been set up for a long time to clear all cookies and cache every time it is closed, and my cache is on a RAM drive which -- goes without saying -- is naturally cleared every time I turn my computer off (at least once every day that I turn my PC on). Nevertheless, I tried, again, manually clearing the cache and cookies in Chrome (only 7 were there, and none from this site, but I did it anyway), and of course the problem remains for me. Again, what is the problem for me in Chrome? I can log in fine. I can view the forum fine. But, every post and every thread is marked as "New", it never remembers what I have viewed no matter how many times I viewed it, and I cannot post anything because of the exact same "Either the feature is disabled, or you do not have sufficient permission." message. Posting this on my PC from Edge.

I can confirm we were having some odd server issues on Friday, which was also affecting us inside the office. It's possible that some of the after effects (like caching) may have been causing these issues over the weekend. Also, we recently overhauled the home page at https://www.evga.com, which, although it shouldn't cause any issues with the forums, there were a few minor bugs here and there. Either way, I've passed this over to our IT team to review.

Seems I spoke too soon.. took 8+ refreshes to get this page to load just now, and even then the text box wasn't showing without more refreshes.
