i have 2 cards to step up to . would you pay the extra50-60$ for the Ti. I know mining will be about the same but resale and a stronger gpu will game better.(Looking like a bad time to get into cryto) we will see. question your hard earned cash 1070 509.99$ or vs 1070 569.99$

    I will ignore the cryptocurrency part of the question since I have no idea about the differences in efficiency.  If power consumption was not a concern, I would say that the 1070 Ti is the obvious choice since its core is able to compute 27% faster for only 12% more price.

    Personally I would do the 1070Ti as it folds almost exactly the same as a 1080.  But that's only because I fold.  You can also overclock the 1070Ti to the point where it is almost equal to a non overclocked 1080.  Also this is a GREAT time to get into crypto.  Be greedy when everyone is fearful, but be fearful when everyone is greedy.  Warren Buffet.  Everyone is scared and people are starting to sell their cards, that means it's the perfect time to jump in as difficulty is going to drop.  Besides what you mine now, will be worth a lot more in the future.

    I'd get the Ti because it's a more diverse miner for an extra $50.  The $50 is a waste with Eth, but helpful for everything else (including folding).

    been mining eth 6 months or more. finally got rx580s and my siacoin tripled(lose 5 mh/s) dual mining eth/sia and I've been Eth only mining since poloniex stole my Sia.. 3 1080 tis 2 1070 tis. am I losing a lot of profit mining eth vs zcash, i need go get another killa watt
