Simple question really.

If, when the P67 SLi board, and then the P67 Classified board is released, will they be eligible for Step-Up for anyone that is still in their step-up window?

In my case, I recently got a P55 Classified 200, and I am wondering if when the P67 Classified comes out, assuming I am still in my Step-Up Window, which I should be, will I be able to Step-Up or not?

most likely not for a while, Jacob hasn't said anything about it so I doubt it will be this month. I can guess that Jacob's response will be "No ETA at this time" :p

Step-Up has to be same socket for Motherboards that qualify.

Wow... seriously?  Since when?  That's the stupidest thing ever.

Had I known that I wouldn't've purchased the P55 Classified.  Why is it that you can step up video cards to a newer class but not motherboards?  Unbelieveable.

    Motherboards

    • EVGA motherboard products are limited to pre-approved models and same socket-type only.
    • Products known to have limited availability will not be made available to the Step-Up program. (Limited availability determined by EVGA.)
    • Customers who received their EVGA graphics card as part of a complete computer system are not eligible - except for those listed on our approved system vendor list.
    Motherboard Examples:
    • P55 SLI (Socket 1156) → X58 SLI (Socket 1366): NO (Different CPU Socket)
    • P55 SLI (Socket 1156) → P55 FTW (Socket 1156): YES (Same CPU Socket)
