790i FTW RAM Recommendations?

Hi all. I've just had my Mushkin ram die out on me. I was running 8GB of Mushkin Black series RAM at 2gb x 4. 2 of them showed errors from running memtest.
 
I've been looking at some selections at Newegg and have several questions about what works and what I should go for.
 
First off: Will 4gb x 2 work on the 790i FTW? I've read elsewhere that the 2gb x 4 was not stable. Will 4gb x 2 work better?
 
Secondly: If 4gb x 2 works well, will these be a good fit?

I don't plan on overclocking these as of now. Please let me know if any of  these are good/stable or if anyone can recommend any others that will run without issues. Thanks all!

    The RAM in the links that you provided will either not work at all, or may not work well with the 790i series board for the following reasons:
    1.  The 790i series boards do not use 4GB RAM modules.  2GB per slot is max.
    2.  The other two links are for low voltage RAM, which quite a few folks have problems running on the 790i chipset.  
    It is becoming difficult to find RAM that will run well on these boards because the 775 platform has reached it's end of life, so RAM manufacturer's are not producing RAM optimized for the 775 platform.  The best RAM that you can still find for the 790i chipset is the following:

    Thank you  for posting this information, I was also looking for RAM for this motherboard that will be replacing my 680i SLI that died.
