It's a BETA , haven't seen one of those officially announced in a while.

I've added this to the BIOS Changelog for the E759 Classified Limited Edition Board (<-link), in case you want to check out the notes and links for current and past BIOSes, both official and beta (all twenty-two of them!) for this great motherboard.

I just spent the last two hours thoroughly troubleshooting my system just to get BIOS 64 installed.

I wouldn't mind beta BIOS and being the guinea pig tester but my first condition is that it should solve S3 issues...

Still no fix for S3 issues...

    Prolimatech Megahalems (Push/Pull)
    Because of S3 issues: 21x196, Auto vcore, 2:8, 8-8-8-24-1T 12GB.

Dont think you have to get more memory stability if you are running memory on 2000Mhz, so as mine. Or get memory to 2000+?

Wonder if this means XMP profile actually works now?  I haven't tried it since I first got my 760 and it resulted in all kinds of problems while stock and OC'd.

Last few BIOS have been OK though since they fixed the S3 resume memory CL.

Beta Bios sounds like beta windows not good at all

Not really, that's some serious misinformation there.
Beta BIOS means that it's not very thoroughly tested by the eVGA QC team or not having many differences to be called "official" release BIOS.
Most of the Beta BIOSes released by eVGA the past few months were great and there was no harm done of course.

The Beta BIOSes are generally safe, there's only a very tiny chance of something crucial getting out unnoticed, and once again most of the times it won't harm your hardware, it might just affect your system's stability or operation until you switch to a previous or newer release.

    roesdiantorrcc

thank Jacob....why must we use beta...????

Nobody told you to use this BIOS .
They're just letting you know that it's available and that you can try it if you want to.

The 64 BIOS is also a beta, and there's nothing wrong about a BIOS being a beta release.
Check my comments on the quote above.

You just need to visit the right URL to stay updated with the latest BIOS releases Jon, this release was made available 3 or 4 days ago

Enhanced memory overclocking doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get your memory clocked at a frequency they weren't stable before.
It can happen, but your DIMMs and IMC ( Integrated Memory Controller ) must be up to the task.
If your DIMMs are already maxed out with the previous BIOS you won't get any higher with a newer BIOS no matter what.
Better overclockability can also be enhanced support for a specific memory kit, allowing you to reach clocks it couldn't reach before, not because it wasn't capable of operating at those frequencies & timings but because there was a "conflict" with their SPD.

In any way, you have to try and see if there's more juice to squeeze out of your hardware

Are you sure?  That's the equivalent of going from say 1.35V to 1V even.  I think you meant to say 0.0365V...

I wouldn't mind beta BIOS and being the guinea pig tester but my first condition is that it should solve S3 issues...

Still no fix for S3 issues...

    This!

Someone gives this guy a BR!

I've been waiting for a S3 fix since the day the board was released.

    evga forum is the best
makes u lol all day long
always get ppl saying bios makes voltage reduce lol on cpu.

sham said the 1866 strap is best for gulftown
    and mch 1600 for nehalem

    also those with 762
    check out the new options
u can now set ure own
    qpi signal compensations
    cpu compensations
    pcie compensations
    manually

waiting for this new feature for e760
new bios on my mem clock
still stuck at 2140 bclk 214 cpu multi 21 on 920
215 still being a hard thing to pass 100 linx run.
hoping if the new feature gets ported to e760 will solve this

stress testing this whole day already since it was out yesterday
    no diff on 920

all those who have lost 4gb etc
next time set  ure rtl 's thats what the classified bios is for and y its so great as it differs from all other mobo's.
