Eh, I pretty much had the same exact car. First week I had it, some guy pulled out in front of me gawking at a police officer writing someone a ticket across the street. I tried to stop quick enough, but there wasn't enough time and it was raining out. I hit the back of his car, bounced off and hit a light pole... Luckily I had witnesses that were nice enough to stay behind and tell the officer what happened... Anyway, the damage was way worse than what was in your picture... and it was to the front of my car. It did total out my car, but the repair cost was only half of what I got for totaling my vehicle. In the end, it paid for my tuition at the time and covered the repairs... It's well worth putting money back into it and get it going again, mine held up strong for 7 years before I got rid of it @ 198k miles.

Yea rain that's what I'm going to do. I just don't want a salvaged title as it costs more on insurance. I guess it really depends on how much they give me, if it's 5k+ then I'll just get a newer car. Do you remember what they gave you for your camry?

Any pain in your left or right thigh area? Numbness, tingling, or throbbing? Lower back is a tricky one.

I think I'd be asking them to buy it back before it's auctioned off. That's pretty light damage, you could probably fix it with a few trips to the junk yard and make it practically good as new, and have $2-3k in your pocket in the end.

My wife hit a deer last spring and the damage was $3500. The car was worth over $5000. The insurance company had it fixed.
Depends on the insurance company and the extent of the damage (frame mostly).

To those talking about repairs, that is top priority for me. I love my car a lot and I have worked hard and spend a good amount of money keeping her healthy, but ultimately it's up to the insurance company wether they want to total it out or not.

Ahhhhh... That sux!!! I know you were pretty excited a few months ago when you got it. That was a good ride.

Well depending on if its totaled or not, it might address you overheating problem! Sorry about your car, always sucks to have to deal with accidents and repairs.
As far as frame, most (if not all) newer cars don't really have frames anymore, its all unibody construction. About the only thing you could call a frame usually is the carriage part for the engine and front drivetrain.
Even though if it is looks bad and tweaked, as long as they can get the wheel alignment right, that is the important part. Unless things are tweaked so much it is structural concerns.
