Introducing the EVGA TORQ X10 gaming mouse. Built with the highest quality materials including a real carbon fiber surface, this mouse was designed from the ground up to satisfy the needs of the hardcore gamer with a high quality laser sensor that provides up to 8200 DPI, an adjustable weight system, nine programmable buttons and a unique sizing system that allows you to adjust the height and the length of the body.
EVGA are experts in the computer hardware and enthusiast/gaming segments with over 14 years of experience. We listen to our loyal and enthusiastic community and often design products that are desired by them. Over the years, you can see this in our award winning graphics cards, power supplies, motherboards, chassis and overclocking accessories to name a few.
Over the last year, EVGA has been focused on a brand new gaming mouse - the EVGA TORQ X10 Carbon. Designed with the highest possible build quality, it is the first EVGA gaming input device that brings our hardware and software expertise to a whole new category.
This mouse was designed from the ground up to be unlike anything you have ever seen on the market. We used the ultimate in quality components including a REAL Carbon Fiber surface and the highest quality Omron switches with a lifespan of over 20 million clicks. We didn't stop there though. We also included a full metal base that provides solid construction, an Avago 9800 laser sensor providing up to 8200DPI with 1000Hz polling rate, a 6FT silver coated USB cable, and much more.

I think EVGA is the only company that would convince me to stray from my Das Keyboard. I hope that keyboard is going to be fully mechanical. FULLY!

Very good product, be sure to buy when will be available. Well done :) Now I use Asus GX1000 Rog, very good mouse, but not quite like the lights, before this was Razer Lachesis 5600, also is not bad mouse.

I claw grip my mouse, I'm wondering if my thumb & pinkie will click the side buttons.

I assume this will be available in the retail channel so we can get a feel before we buy?

The side button position on the eVGA mouse look similar to the position of my G9x, with the exception of the right side buttons. I hope it's not an issue as I will buy this mouse when it's available to me. Go eVGA!!!

Please nail this Jacob.  You competition is a Steelseries Sensei MLG.  And that sensor you chose, make sure to have very refined firmware.  It can be a pita with angle locking and lag, but if tuned right it can also be epic.

Finally a mouse not made from cheap plastic. Would be cool if you would offer the option to get the rubbered parts made from carbon or brushed metal as well.

You should I suggest optional carbon fiber or may some sort of metal like aluminum or stainless steel. For non exotics at least that rubberized plastic, glossy plastic and that sort of rough plastic like on the newer logitech and razer mice.

Is that back palm piece also swappable?

Very interesting mouse... We didn't saw something like this in ocean of CM, Razer, Roccat and other models.
I could try this non-carbon model, I like it.
Look really nice on top and from back side.
But if Jacob say it's real carbon and metal I have nothing against to try carbon model...

I decide I will buy 100%, only I'm not sure carbon or not... I look this mouse almost 1h, it's very nice for eye.
On Linus youtube clip I definitely confirm my wish for next mouse and though before him about some metal based.
But he will not be cheap I can bet.
Cable look nice too with company name on connectors, I like that, details are important too.
But I saw one detail on software, Keyboard . Something similar Logitech G series have to switch between mice and keyboard...
Maybe EVGA plan something more in future as Mechanical Keyboard for complete with TorQ10.
