As it say's above i just wish to ask the Members here if anyone has a same set up and the EVGA GTX 780 TI is working like it should do? Or has anyone had any problems or issues to solve before the EVGA GTX 780 TI began to work properly?

The reason for this is 2 fold on the Net there have been some comments about UEFI and Legacy in the BIOS to get the Video up and running. Since i am looking to purchase 2 of these cards in the near future i just wish to avoid any problems that could crop up.

If it turns out that there is a problem it would save me a lot of money and time to sort it out now!! And look to the EVGA GTX 780 or a Pair of GTX TITANS instead!!

Respectfully,

Ajay.

There is no reason it shouldn't work, but as with most new hardware additions, you might need to update your BIOS.  It depends on which version you currently have and what, if any, new versions there are.  Also, are you running Windows 7 or 8?

Just update the BIOS it should be fine.  Asus is usually good about making sure hardware is compatible either before or upon release of that item...

I got a ASUS rampage III extreme X58 chipset and the GTX 780TI SC works 100% and I happy with my EVGA GTX780TI SC.
So the X79 chipset should work also.

Looking at the EVGA GTX 780 TI SC (03G-P4-2883-KR) hoping to run 2 x these in SLI, this would be for Benchmarking on the Hwbot. Where i do most of my hobby right now, i don't like the remarks about Coil Wine, i hope it does not affect me.

    Merry Christmas,

I got my EVGA GTX 780 TI SUPERCLOCKED (03G-P4-2883-KR) Today and it just worked great with the P9X79 PRO MOBO working nicely @ x 16 on the PCI-E, did some out of the box testing no problems. Great card super quite no Coil Whine here, my water pump is more noisey lol!! Just have to wait till Monday or Tuesday for the second card to arrive and then i will fit it and then SLI it to the other one.

Very impressed so far and picked up some nice points on the HWbot to add to my own score, Well done EVGA LOVE THIS CARD!!
