Please note this tool only supports the "reference" style GTX 780/TITAN cooler and/or EVGA Pro SLI Bridges.

Version v1.2.1

Release: 9/23/13
  • Adds support to control EVGA Pro SLI Bridges - Important note: NVIDIA Driver 327.23 Required

The EVGA LED Controller application is available now! You can download it here.

Here is a brief overview on how it works. When I start the application I will see the below:

The first selector at the top left lets me select the card logo and/or SLI Bridge I want to adjust. In the example above, I have selected to control the EVGA Pro SLI Bridge that is connecting my GTX TITAN's. The selection directly below that lets me select various different options. IMPORTANT NOTE: Anything other than manual control REQUIRES EVGA Precision X to be running in the background! For FPS Monitoring make sure that you have FPS monitoring enabled in EVGA Precision X.

Lets select GPU Utilization. When EVGA Precision X is also running in the background (or minimized to system tray) the LED on my EVGA GTX TITAN, 780, 690 or Pro SLI Bridge will automatically adjust based on the GPU Utilization. In the below image I am running EVGA OC Scanner X to increase my GPU utilization to 94%, thus the illumination on my EVGA GTX TITAN is set accordingly. When I close EVGA OC Scanner X, the LED turns off.

Lastly, the apply at startup will ensure that my custom LED settings will always apply on Windows boot!

Awesome Jacob!  Does this tool still require user to have a 780/Titan? Or does this allow for user defined adjustment with only the SLI bridge? You guys are always innovating things!

It will work with any cards that allow the SLI Bridge to illuminate.

Also I want to mention, for the SLI Bridge LED adjustment, driver version 327.23 is required.

Great update, now if I just had a card that would illuminate the SLI bridge.

It works as advertised.  At least with the SLI bridge as an option makes it is a bit easier to tell which graphics card you are selecting.   Jacob any way to add a number or something to the cards in the list to differentiate them from each other?

My GTX 780 Classified Hydro Copper LED and EVGA LED SLI Bridge stay lit when using this software.  Could it be because I am using an older system?  i7-950, intel x58so

I followed the directions exactly and nothing is happening.  I don't know what else to do.

Thanks Jacob.  I think it will help some in SLI since it is hard to tell what card you have selected.

Does this tool allow you to control the bridge on 780 classifieds? Also does it work with the latest beta driver that was just released for BF4?

Not sure about the 780 classifieds but I can tell you that the program does work with the latest beta that was released for BF4 (331.40).

    LOL.

I am now fighting with this app.

I simply installed and have no custom options running.  Hell I just opened it to see what it was.

However when my computer boots, the SLI LED turns off.

I still haven't had this program to work not just the SLI Bridge but for my 780 Classified Hydro Copper.  You would think it would work but would like to hear from EVGA for verification.

Mine fired right up (327.23 installed). But ... this app does not control the led color. I expected Green LEDs.
Was hoping this app would allow for changing color to match schemes much like the Antec920 does. Why would EVGA choose Blue LED's? Guess green just an NVidia thing. These are slick bling items.

I'm running on nvidia driver 331.40, evga precision X v4.2.1 and evga led controller v1.2. It lighted up when i put onto my Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB WF 3x OC. But when i ran the led controller with precision x running in background, it gave me the following message: This device is not supported!

Is it due to the brand or due to it not detecting a second car in SLI?

My Pro Connector and Evga Hydro Copper from the 780 Classified light up.  Everything is lit up but not doing any effect I choose from the listing even though it recognizes the GPU.

Is this only for reference 780s?

Is this software getting an update ?  It's sorely in need of one as in its current incarnation it is buggy.

    - It loads at startup and resides in the tray, but if you open it there are only two buttons for minimize and close, minimize leaves it in the taskbar after you open it and there is no way to get it back in the tray.

    - More importantly; settings can be applied and work, but when choose you 'apply at startup', it seems to only make the program load at startup and sit in the tray but the LED settings are not applying.  This leaves you to have to open it to apply them every reboot.

This is on 780 Classified HC SLI and the issues are with the SLI bridge lighting.

    Please get us an update.

the illuminations range needs to be lowered some for the sli bridges, 100-20 seems to all be the same brightness and from 19-0 does the dimming. 780 classy hydro blocks don't breath at all.

    Jacob fix us something :-)

I've used this software to create ground fx lighting on my case.   I soldered directly to the 12v lines for LED's and wired them to two 12v light strips and have control over the led's via the software.   It works wonderful.   I would like for you to add a option if its not too much to ask.    Strobe effect.  I'd like to cycle between 0 and 100% and enable the slider to control the strobe speed.   If this is possible it would look amazing.  Attached are pictures of the software working.   Strobe effect would just put it over the top for me.

Not sure if others noticed, this seems to be integrated into GeForce Experience now.  I don't care to use the effects so I do not know how it works.

in GeForce Experience I get the bridge to light up and stay lit but no effects. I am assuming that since my 780 sc ACX cards have no leds that this is why the bridge only lights up but no effects.

Is this true? Do the effects work with the ACX cards or not?

ACX cards do not have controllable leds. Only the reference Cards with NVidia on the side.
