As the title asks?

I have OSD enabled and it shows up in every other game I've been playing and testing today, but for some reason it won't show up when I play Skyrim.  Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Yeah, I recently posted a thread for several games with OSD showing my scores using the 580, leading up to the arrival of my 680 and in every game the OSD shows up, but Skyrim.

    Tis very odd...

Well I am out of ideas. I even have "Stealth" mode off and on screen support on in the "Server" portion. Have you tried to re-boot and see if that helped?

    Also you can try this:

try changing the On-Screen Display rendering mode from Vector 3D to Vector 2D. You can do this from the Statics Server icon in your system tray.

Been trying many things, including multiple restarts, changing the raster type, colors, position, stealth.  Every option in precision and the OSD settings menu and it still doesn't show up.

OSD doesn't work in any game if using FXAA.

Wrong. On GTX 680, when setting FXAA on Nvidia control Panel, then the OSD works (at least on Metro 2033 and GTA IV).

I got it also working previously (with FXAA) a while ago when using my Radeon 4870x2.
    Heres how:
Double click EVGA on screen display server tray icon--> then click "wrench" icon---> then under compability properties --->check enable compatibility with modified Direct3D runtime libraries.

I think some games may not work if you are using FXAA injectors.

You are right. I'm very glad Nvidia added FXAA to the control panel. Seems like the OSD also works with it now.

I believe that EVGA Precision OSD will work now when using either the FXAA injector by some_dude or the SMAA injector by Mr. Haandi.
All you have to do is go into the settings for the OSD server, and under Compatibility properties, check, "Enable compatibility with modified Direct3D runtime libraries."

Though, I've heard of people encountering issues sometimes in some games when they do this while using a FXAA/SMAA injector.
I can't recall off the top of my head, but I may have had issues as well.

Ah oki, its working now, but too late for comparing performance between the 580/680.  No matter though.

FXAA was turned off, but checking the "Enable compatibility with modified Direct3D runtime libraries."  made it appear.  I know back when Skyrim launched I used an FXAA injector mod to enhance the graphics before the creation kit came along, so maybe something from that old mod still lingers and was conflicting.

    Thanks for the help...

Is that new for the 3xx-series drivers?  I don't see it on the latest WHQLs...

Some Games are better than other's when it come to precision showing properly. also try complete closing precisionX and  Open it in Admin mode first. Who knows it might work.
