Emepror i just read something like a day or so go that says that the port is something intel is doing with p67. Was like a sodimm slot or something.

So i've done more research on that port emepror was referring to. its an ONFI slot which stands for open Nand Flash Interface. From what I gather its like an onboard slot to plug in a SSD of certain requirements.
My guess is that it can be used as like an additional non volatile RAM storage of sorts. From the googling it sounds like you could get this ONFI storage device and even install windows to it. This has me very intrigued, will have to see how that shapes up.
