You can only step up boards with the same socket. So your current board will not be able to be stepped up to a LGA 2066 board.

    Motherboards

    • EVGA motherboard products are limited to pre-approved models and same socket-type only.
    • Products known to have limited availability will not be made available to the Step-Up program. (Limited availability determined by EVGA.)
    • Customers who received their EVGA motherboard as part of a complete computer system are not eligible - except for those listed on our approved system vendor list.
    Motherboard Examples:
    • X79 Dark (Socket 2011) → X99 Classified (Socket 2011-3): NO (Different CPU Socket)
    • Z87 Classified (Socket 1150 ) → Z97 Classified (Socket 1150): YES (Same CPU Socket)

That is actually wrong, i would have been able to upgrade from z170/z270 to x99.
Either there is a bug in the system or the faq information are old/wrong.

You are not completely correct. The X99 socket is not the same as z170/270.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

With Z170/Z270 i meant that i had the opportunity to step up to x99 from both chipsets.

I can confirm that the current information on the Step Up page is correct. With regards to stepping up a motherboard,  you can only do so if the board has the same socket.  As previouly posted by willdearborn

@OP  At this time we do not have any information on when new items will be added to the Step Up list.  "Products can be removed from or added to Step-Up availability at any time."
