before i invest in a different mic and get away from the the audio technica 2020usb+, is there any side tone option with the nu audio, and does the nu audio have phantom power?

currently my headphones (dt1990 pro) sound great through nu audio, and my mic sounds stellar, but i can't hear what i'm saying at all and its kind of a pain in the ass. i'm often shouting, or talking like a deaf person.

I don't think that the Nu Audio cards have phantom power, but I do know for sure that the Nu Audio cards don't have a built-in side tone option.  There are software work-arounds to create the side-tone effect, but they create annoying latency (as you probably know).

that's kind of unfortunate. i guess i'll be taking it out in the near future. there's no solutions for xlr mic in with phantom power and headphone out with an interface that's end-result audiophile quality. there's the goxlr, but i don't stream or need half of that unit. i just want to hear and be heard well.
i'd be thrilled if nu audio put out new version with xlr (mini?) mic input, side tone, and phantom power.

Well, generally speaking it has phantom power. Otherwise no mic condenser mic would ever work. But its not 48V XLR for more powerful mics.
There is only one "home" use oriented sound card with XLR mic and phantom power that I know of.
