The screen is fine, one of the best out there, although for a gaming laptop I would of preferred a 1440p high refresh rate and low response time screen.  The main issue is not the screen quality but the matte film they used, which is thick and granular, washing out some of the sharpness.
What did you use to calibrate the screen?

Screen quality is great IMO, though i would have liked a 1080p 120+hz refresh rate screen. The 4k screen is overkill and i find myself running in 1080p anyways for higher framerates with gsync off for a more responsive feel when playing FPS genre games. I agree with Vistarshook about the film, but its not a dealbreaker in any way.

I do wonder, however, if there isnt a compatible 120hz 1080 screen available from somewhere

LAPTOP: Asus ROG G513QY AMD Advantage Edition | Garuda Linux

    WORKSTATION: HP Z600 | 2x Intel Xeon x5675 @3.2ghz | EVGA GTX 1060 6gb | 24gb Corsair DDR3 ECC | AlmaLinux
