It's not a power issue. It means the card is stuck in flash mode. See if doing this will fix it.

I'd contact evga support and see what they suggest. Some people have said they have fixed the issue by changing their motherboards.

Another solution to the issue would be to swap your current 2080 ti ftw3 with a different 2080 ti model that doesn't have the three red lights built into it. A 2080 Ti XC Gaming Ultra would do.

Yeah, I don't think they would exchange it for you, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

iv been troubleshooting hardware and software issue for years. this is legit the first time i come across something like that. like im surprised evga or other companies didnt address this issue yet. like where its coming from so we can solve the issue.that's legit crazy. like i can swap the motherboard no problem. but what would assure me that it wont happen on the new motherboard.

Try re-seating your power supply cables, if the issue continues contact us through a support ticket on your registered product

reseating my power cables have no effect on my card getting stuck in flash mode. look at other replies. see that guy he got a brand new 2080 and its doing the same problem. the evga tech's reply was i need to be looking at somewhere else. like where? motherboard? tell me what motherboad to buy and i will do it. im not gonna go pick a random motherboard that might have this problem too. my psu is new and good its corsair Rm850x. so plenty of power. im using no adapter or anything moded. im using the original psu cables and 2 pcie cables as well. so i dont know whats causing this problem. but we seriously needs a fix. i hope evga's engineering are really working on it.

My 2080 FTW3 works fine with ASUS Z170 MAXIMUS VIII GENE.
Change of bios settings of the X99 Micro 2 (and re-seating power supply cables) did not give a positive result

yeah and yet we didn't hear anything from evga. and they are only providing us by basic troubleshooting steps that has nothing to do with the actual problem. i dont get it how theres 0 input from them. and theres some good amount of people suffering from it.
