I see amazon has them in stock for msrp of 700
 
seeing as i'll get the card for free i'm thinking of getting it,but  was wondering if the fe logo in green can be changed to white or it's green only?

    I see then you really do not want the FE Model as any company that sales them they are all the Same Looking, that is the "GTX 1080 ti Founders Edition".

    yeah guess so,hopefully evga/asus has some on amazon and i can snag one unless i can sell this 400.00 amazon gc and use it towards the pre order.

    You can use Nvidia LED Visualizer and turn off the Green logo.

    water blocks cure the whole issue
     
    just disassembled my stock Titan X Pascal cooler --- led assembly is glued to side of housing
     
    I guess you could remove it and replace with plastic ? (may kill your warranty though)
     
    Only the T & X are cut in the actual shape of the letters, the rest are blocks - kind of rubbery feel to it
