Please forgive me if this question has been asked already, but can I install EVGA Precision XOC for my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti that is manufactured by Dell -- without VOIDING my warranty?
I assumed that EVGA was the manufacturer of my 1080 Ti until I ran CPU-Z, -->I was wrong.  Plus I got the warning about voiding my warranty when I tried to install EVGA Precision XOC.

Thanks,
scatman7

I only wanted to use Precision XOC so that I could render with Blender3D as fast as possible on this PC.

Dell does Not make 1080 Ti ... though Nvidia or other Mfg could "white label a card as Dell"

With Stock BIOS in a card & unmodified OC software it is Not possible to "Override" Nvidia Boost 3.0

The card has Factory (Nvidia) overrides built in to keep it safe.

Small steps in your OC & Test for Stability --> crank your fans to 100% on card & in your case for best possible performance as the Temp does matter

Thanks for the quick response, bcavnaugh.  Forgive me for being cautious; this PC is still under warranty.  Do you have any links to verify your permission?

Tomorrow I'll open the case and see what label is actually on the GPU.

Follow your Mfg warranty Terms = if that would be your concern ....

Stock Hardware & BIOS & Nvidia Boost 3.0 - Will not (should not) allow you to "go crazy" ---> as temps or power draw rise ---> Boost 3.0 cuts MHz, Power to Control Temps

However it is best to make small adjustments & test stability

I'm running Version 6.1.14 Precision X OC - under Win 7 Pro (newer versions may work better, as a Folder I run 24/7 & do Not Update OC software once it is Running)

AIO Folding  - Rig with two EVGA 1080 Ti

Running  OC 24/ 7 for the last ~15 months with no issues
