I'm looking to get a new video and have my sights set on either a 1650 and 1660. For me, at this price point, both will work. I'm leaning towards a 1650 since by the time the warranty runs out I'll be itching for a new card anyways, however from what I've read it is loud. Would the 1660 super (either single or dual fan) be quieter?

Currently I'm using a 950 SCX 2.0 (or something). It may be that I'm over thinking this and those cards are all about as noisy (or quiet) as this one.

No matter what you chose, stick with a dual fan.  They'll should run cooler and quieter than a single fan but that will all depend on your environment.

    I'm enjoying my 1650super.
It is a little noisy when overclocked to max.
I was wanting 1660ti, the 1650 showed up first.
And it was a huge upgrade over the onboard graphics.
playing the waiting game to get a new card now.

    Hi nstgc!

I am currently using a 1660 Dual Fan in my media PC setup. Even though I am using a tiny case (Jonsbo c2) I can barely hear the fans at all even when the GPU is at 100%. If I had a choice, I'd go with 1660 for sure. I think you'll enjoy that performance increase as well ;)

    Cheers!

Always stick with a dual fan or tri fan GPU as they will be quieter, have better temps, look nicer, and generally last longer.

if anything, undervolt it. get lower temps and lower noise
