new motherboard install help please.

ok b550 f rog strix is installed and after tryig to install windows 15 times of flash drive i finally got to install and all asus drivers up to date. the only drive i have installed is the new 1tb 4.0 but it will only boot if i use boot override and it shows as main drive so i dont get it at all. when i turn on pc it goes to american trends screen and i have to hit f1 to bios then hit override to go to windows so im confused. other then that im tidying it up but wont install second ssd till i get it to boot right.

    think i fixed it. in bios there is a f1 erroe code for you to hit so i disabled it and now it goes from the asus screen to desktop. so i think im good there.

    im glad i upgraded mobo the pcie 4.0 nmve is definatly faster as far as getting to desttop like 5 seconds. and its nice to have two of them and i like that i can download some games to second drive and launch them from geforce experience thats on boot drive.

    Yes I noticed the PCI-E improvements right away, especially if you use a PCI-E 4.0 NVMe SSD.

    i have the sabrent 1tb 4.0 boot and sabrent 2 tb 3.0 for second.
