I dont see that mentioned a price range in your post.
I had the Logitech G930's wireless, Christmas present from the wife.
They worked fine, but would constantly drop then regain connection. About every 40 seconds or so.
 
I tried to fix them by searching for solutions, but non ever worked. It was a known software glitch.
 
I told my wife about it just recently(3 months back).
She asked why i never mentioned it before.. Because they were a gift and i didnt want to get any others, so she would not get upset.

Best ever, hear everything!  Never lost connection.  Love these, though i never really get to play anymore.. i still talk to some of my clan while im doing house work or taking care of my son.
A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

This is a big one for me. I've broken several sets of headphones over the years due to the cord getting caught on a chair or other damage, so being able to purchase a set with a cord that can be replaced without soldering is really nice.

I broke the mic wire on my Sennheiser PC-350 headset right below the in-line volume controller. The headset was like 5-6 years old. Lucky Sennheiser has out of warranty flat rate "repair" service, they replaced my headset with a brand new Sennheiser Game Zero headset. The Game Zero has a replaceable cable and has awesome sound.

The look of those is pretty good since it doesn't do anything silly like RGB or have bright annoying colors or try to look like it's from a Sci-Fi series.

I also love the Game Zeros and recommend them if it's within your budget range. Sennheiser also has the Game One headsets if you prefer an open-back headset.

Umm.. what?     cause nothing says gaming like Maxell EB-95 ...i can hear everything.. for $1.25, i just cant talk in game.

Just any quality stereo headset should be fine, I use an Audio Techa M50 and a separate mic called a blue yeti.
