what am i supposed to do now? it almost burned up my whole computer.

and now i see there are many having this problem!! i am upset and the wekeend is destroyed. am i supposed to cash up new money for a new graphics card or is this something you will fix for me, giving me a new card?

It happens. Not only does it happen, but it has been happening for decades. All brands and models have done it. There are not many who have had this problem; that's nonsense. In comparison to the total number of video cards sold, this happens to only a tiny fraction. The most common cause of this failure is thermal cycles, stress, or shock causing a ceramic capacitor to crack and short out. Once the capacitor shorts, there are hundreds of amps of power available at that location to make a quick impressive-looking display.

But, first, register the video card, if you haven't done so already.

Sorry your card had a failure

As mentioned above it is not that common as a percentage of the total number of cards.

Step 1 - is making sure your card is registered

You can contact EVGA Customer Support to confirm if you card is still in warranty based on the serial number

Warranty information is found here:     https://www.evga.com/warranty/
        1) select your region of the world
        2) select your product type

If the damage to the card also caused damage to other components in your PC you need to contact EVGA in the region of the world where you reside as mentioned above.

In the mean time pull the card and if you have a spare or can use the built in graphics (if your CPU supports it) do so. Boot it up and make sure everything else is fine.
