Other than regular dusting the old bugger, is there anything else I can do to prolong its life span? 

Would reapplying thermal paste be necessary at some point? Would it void my warranty?

As long as your temps are good, you do not need to repaste.
 
No, changing thermal pads, or thermal paste will not Void your warranty
 
However if you cause damage while repasting your card, that is not covered by warranty
 
Unless you bought the extended warranty from EVGA, one would think by now the stock warranty (usually 3 years, depends on part number) would have expired by now

I did purchase the 10 year warranty with my 2080, it will expire sometime in 2029...
Now whether or not EVGA will be around by then and still have the means to fix any issues is another story.
