T1Z1ANO
Hello everyone,

For some time now, Precision X1 has only been detecting one fan, whereas it used to detect both. This makes it impossible to control the second fan, causing my GPU temperature to rise dangerously. Could you please help me with this?

GPU: GeForce RTX 2080 XC ULTRA GAMING
OS: Windows 11
Driver: 566.03
Precision: EVGA_Precision_X1_1.3.7.0

PS: By uninstalling the driver, I notice that both fans are running. However, I am still unable to control them.

Thank you very much! :)

Cool GTX
Welcome to the EVGA Forums

manually remove drivers & the leftover X1 files then reload X1

Did the issue start After an OS or Nvidia driver Update ?

- Turn Off Fast Boot in MB BIOS

Turn Off Fast Startup in Windows - or at least Clear the Windows Startup file

You could also test fan control with MSI afterburner
