Thank you everyone for your patience while our team worked on the updates per Intel for the Z790 motherboards. 
These updates include the 0x129 Microcode from Intel for the Z790 series motherboards.
 
We only recommend this BIOS for the Z790 with Intel 13th or 14th Gen. Processors.
 
The BETA BIOS can be downloaded at the links below:
 
·         121-RL-E799-KR - EVGA Z790 DARK K|NGP|N - v1.20
·         121-RL-E798-KR - EVGA Z790 CLASSIFIED - v1.17
 
Please take note that we do not recommend updating your BIOS if you are not running an Intel 13th or 14th Gen. Processor.

Great, now where is the Z690 board BIOS?!? IS this some sort of joke? You sold Z690 as supporting 13th gen which is 100% affected by the microcode issue. Where is the update?

Also please take note that in the BIOS under the Advanced -> CPU settings you will need to turn the "Intel Default Settings" to "Off" before any of the changes on this page will take effect when they are saved.

Hopefully the Z690 one is coming soon...I mean, not sure about everyone else but this was an $800+ mobo when I bought it new, would be sad if they couldn't find a way to update it as well. It's not even that old. I know EVGA and the team are a shell of their former self, but there has to be some BIOS people to contract for this that used to work there.
