Well the monitor should be here on Thursday of this week which is crazy as it just shipped out on Tuesday. Two day shipping from Hong Kong for $30 bucks is crazy good. 
 
I got my ai chinese character reader ready to go on my phone, so I can translate the monitors osd menu just by taking a picture. 

That's funny. I happened to see a pic of the OSD while monitor hunting and it was all in english. But the pic I saw was for the previous model of that monitor.

Well the ones ordered from the usa/canada sites would be english for sure, but I ordered directly from china, so I expect it to come in chinese.

For Prime members though, it was $200 bucks off.  Other than the stand being a bit flimsy, the panel got good reviews overall. I didn't want to spend a lot this round thinking they'll resolve the burn in issue with OLED displays (or invent better tech) before long and I'll want to upgrade again.

I actually looked at the 27M2V too, but it has worse hdr performance than my current monitor so I had to pass on it.
