Well guys.  It was fun with the 3090 Hybrid but I got a deal on a 7900xtx Nitro and it's a beast.  I'm not getting rid of the 3090 since it's an evga.

I was one of the few that would help get people gpu's during the great gpu crisis and on the way I would use some of them.   Went through two 3090 ftw3 (personal), a 3080ti ftw3 (actually had the least problems), had 3090 KP but never got to use it (life = need money) and settled on this Hybrid.  Other than the audio problems I had on EVERY 3090 I had, they are good cards.

I'll always keep my eyes open for a deal on a 3090 kp and/or 3090ti kp.   Prices are too high right now so it'll be far down the road.

I was able to get a 790 Dark with a 13900KF for a hell of a deal so I'll keep this Z690 setup as a back up.

Running benchmarks right now with the AMD and liking it so far.   This is the second amd gpu I've ever owned and the last one was a Sapphire 9600 pro fanless model.  LOL

AMD GPUs are certainly not bad. I've had one myself.

I have also had AMD GPU's and I agree that they are not bad. They just don't have the performance but with what NVIDIA charges for a their flagship product vs. AMD I kind of wonder which is really the one who will do better in the long run especially with NVIDIA not targeting the budget market and AMD having the consoles running their chips making the AMD technology more likely to become a standard.

AMD high level GPUs can play any current game very well. It will be interesting to see if next gen AMD GPUs concentrate more on price point rather than far more performance.
