Has anyone installed a 14900KS with this motherboard and does it work? I know that this motherboard is working fine with 14900K using the latest BIOS currently available, although EVGA has not officially released a BIOS that supports 14th Gen processors, the 1.15 BIOS still supports 14900K, so I'm not sure if it can support 14900KS, even though there's no difference between 14900KS and 14900K. But whether the old microcode can be supported is still unknown. So please give me an answer if you know.

While you can boot and run a 14900k, the V/F points are wrong, the microcode is wrong, the ME firmware is wrong, and who knows what other bugs exist...so being that a 14900KS is basically a 13900KSSS, it may run. It just wouldn't have any of the correct voltage/frequency settings. You'd have to try and tune it entirely manually to get it where it's supposed to be and even then there are other things not running fully correct because the microcode is wrong. That's assuming the motherboard even recognizes it and boots correctly.

Don't even waste your time. Get an Apex Encore, Godlike or Aorus.

If your definition of "fine" is bare minimum functionality, high power consumption, and specific features totally unsupported.
