While you can boot and run a 14900k, the V/F points are wrong, the microcode is wrong, the ME firmware is wrong, and who knows what other bugs exist...so being that a 14900KS is basically a 13900KSSS, it
may run. It just wouldn't have any of the correct voltage/frequency settings. You'd have to try and tune it entirely manually to get it where it's supposed to be and even then there are other things not running fully correct because the microcode is wrong. That's assuming the motherboard even recognizes it and boots correctly.
