Despite not being a fan of this project since the invasion of Ukraine, I tried to get tasks unsuccessfully. But others are getting them it seems.
 
 
 
 

I am getting steady tasks, much better than the last Asteroids sprint. They didn't send me any tasks.

I just looked and I am getting a lot of errors, "server canceled", and "abandoned". If that doesen't stop I/m pulling the plug.
An Idea should this be run under Linux or something?  What am I doing wrong?
 
 

Agreed yodap, this is not one I usually run but I've been getting tasks just fine, Windows and Linux, with only one error.  No special settings.
They used to have really long tasks but everything is completing within a few hours at the moment.

I had so many errors, installed and reinstalled all the MS visual C++ and still. It even made one box display  go blank after a few minuets running. I am not sure what the heck is going on.

SiDock runs fine on my cpu ,its in my rotation because its one of the few medical ones I could find .

No idea where you get your C++ install / update files from.
I've had good luck using the update tool from techpowerup to update All versions of MS visual C++

Thanks CoolGTX yeah that's the exact same installer I use. Still errors and one box the screen goes blank remote and in person.
The one box going blank I forgot to install C++ but even after I did it goes blank. Fast boot off and I rebooted.
I didn't do a shutdown restart but a reboot. Should work I would think. win10 up to date with newer driver. This box is not too old its a fairly new win install. It's the last MB CPU I bought. Maybe the project doesn't like i9-79xx-X 2066 CPUs

I never thought of trying Linux, duh.
 
Someone on the FB forum mentioned that Russia does not share the results of these projects with the world anymore. Must have a tight clamp over the scientific community and university system.
Hopefully the people are getting some benefit from them.
