I tried to warn everyone.... here, on evga's discord, and other places. Those of you with these boards I do feel for. Some of you in this post didn't see my warnings. I also said those of you who got the extended warranty you better get that refund while you still can. You are not going to be able to collect with most of EVGA's revenue out the window.
Since Andrew Han took advantage of Keith Rochford being sick to force Keith out plus get his part of the company, nothing has been the same. It's been a slow decline, EVGA had the dream team Kingpin and Shamino thanks to Keith, Andrew messed that up as well. Sadly Anrew because of his ego, thinking he is so important crashed and burned the company thinking he would teach Nvidia a lesson. He thought nvidia needed EVGA not EVGA needed nvidia. All he is done is destroy what he helped Keith Rotchford build, Keith is actually the one who gave EVGA its original principles to business model not Andrew Han... EVGA's reputation is fading fast with what we are seeing, and now it's legacy. It will leave a many of its diehard fans with a bad taste in their mouth how things have gone.
As for your boards with no support, you can hope Kingpin gets someone to make a custom bios for it, find someone who actually knows what they are doing to make a custom bios for it. Keep the board as a collector's item, or try to sell it and get an ASUS or whatever companies board you want that still has support. I highly suggest you get a Gen II board for your 14th gen cpu's so you actually get the full features of 14th gen. Otherwise things may not go like you planned until some bios updates later as it seems some companies 14th gen bios updates for their gen I boards people are having DDR5 speed issues they should be able to run easily.
GL Everyone, EVGA RIP... Wish Keith R. remained in the picture.
