I just went in and manully tuned my now 2nd 13900ks cpu myself in the bios by locking all the cores to 56, and set the vcore to 1.345v with a offset of -110 as well a dropping the vcore pwm frequency to 400, and power limiting the cpu to 253 watts, and my chip has been fine, no issues at all. It runs cooler and even a little faster, and I have had my 2nd 13900ks for 3 months now.

I Didn't see this vid posted but you don't need a new microcode from Intel if you don't mind playing with your bios. I saw above several people have already done this. Here is a step by step guide.

From EVGA today (08/21): "We currently do not have any updates to report and we are waiting to hear from Intel."

Got same response.

I guess we should ask Intel to give them instructions

Intel is currently distributing to its OEM/ODM partners a new microcode patch (0x129) for its Intel Core 13th/14th Gen desktop processors which will address incorrect voltage requests to the processor that are causing elevated operating voltage.
