I firmly believe eVGAs future at this point rides on redesigning the old SLI line of boards (obviously drop SLI from the name) and launching a more budget enthusiast board on both Intel and AMD platforms. The X570 AMD boards were actually good boards. The X79 SLI I had 11 years ago found it’s way back to me still working.

 
With EVGA BIOS team out the door and KingPin looking for new hardware partnership. I doubt will see any EVGA motherboards for Intel CPU's coming out 2H of 2024.
 

That’s the biggest issue. The talent is leaving. We might just be seeing the end of an era. I actually decided to stick to AM4 on my build this year and will probably be running my 5800X (soon a 5900X) for the next 4 years. I got an X570 eVGA board on the way from eBay. I did buy the Allstate protection thing so yeah. It was between that or the Crosshair X570 Extreme. It’s truly crazy how much longer hardware is relevant now. And it’s sad to see Evga slowing down. Who knows they may not be going away but they surely aren’t top dogs anymore.

Hey, welcome to the X570 gang. Atleast for the time being you will have a decent AM4 board.

I'm still running ASUS Hero Z270 with I7-7700k from 2017. I plan on upgrading when Arrow Lake CPU's come out.

Same, well kinda.  Waiting to see what the Arrow Lake has in store and still running a 5930K/X99 Classified from almost 10 yrs ago? lol  She's still trucking along.

I've been over here like "this is a long slow process" and then the forums we down for hours this morning and wasn't I sitting here all "uh oh". Don't scare me like that.

It wasn't quite a year ago... 8/11/2022 was when they sent the payouts for the program, I got 37 dollars lol

Is EVGA going to close? -- Maybe but not soon, they have a brand that still has value before they finish running it through the mud. They will use that brand to sell low quality cheap power supplies for a premium price until they can't... They have been doing it for a while. I first noticed when I tried out the G5 series about 4 years back. Even their support was trying to blame my home electricity before taking the RMA the 3rd time. All 3 had issues and were making noise, somehow each replacement was a little louder. Kinda sad to see EVGA kinda decay like this... really seems like Andrew Han got generational wealth during the pandemic and decided to cut his responsibilities and run what is left into the ground because he's too greedy.

Yeah...it was more of an off-the-cuff joke about it being "ages"...just like I'm fairly certain nateman was joking about spending bucks now.

So,....when EVGA is no more,.....and you need to build a new system,.....what are you going to use for the parts [that you had gotten from EVGA]?

so many of my fav sites are no more, and i just read the first three ^^ anymore.
^^ are of 50+ remaining... i use to have a collection of hundreds of tech sites started reading/collecting 20 years ago.

EVGA did release new PSU models a few days ago. Personally I'd like to see more EVGA accessories such as PC cases, DDR5 memory, M.2 SSDs, etc.
