Can i use 2.5mm on the place where 2.25 is required.. please guide i am not a tech guy and i just removed and trashed the original pads from my card. And everywhere i go i can find only 2.5mm but not 2.25mm

Using the correct pad is recommended. The reason why is because it could cause the gpu die not to contact the cooler, and would cause it to overheat.

you should be able to send an email to EVGA support and buy a set of pads for like $10 that will fit your gpu. Might of changed but worth a shot My 3070 ti FTW ultra had thermal putty from the factory in the two spots the original post inquired about. When i water cooled mine i was able to use pads.

Yes i understand this and I managed to get a 2.25mm. can i use them only on rams and mosfits ?

yes that is correct for vram and mosfets according to early in the post they used 1mm to replace thermal putty. i have been using a waterblock, i can not confirm 1mm as putty replacement just sharing what was posted its good to test fit and look for impression in thermal pad for good contact

I'll try. And what is the best way to check all the component temperatures after changing the pads ? Like how to check if thermal pads are well contacted with heatsink and working fine?

EVGA Precision X1, GPU-Z, or HWINFO64.
