Yes, we have heard z690 will not receive any more updates, including official 14th gen support. It's not happening.

From an email they sent me on 4/23/2024:

“There is no plan to support the Z690 chipset Motherboard due to hardware circuitry that would need to be reworked as well, to support the two generations CPUs from original design.“

I spent a lot of money on this board and will be stuck with the VERY FIRST PROCESSOR I EVER PUT IN IT! EVGA should of sold the boards with the 13th Gen built into the Z690 motherboards, What a Joke we were ripped off. They go from the best customer service to the worse!!!!

Not really sure what you're talking about in your post. The Z690 boards do support 12 & 13th Gen CPU's, just not the latest 14th Gen.  Also, when the Z690 boards were designed and produced, the 13th Gen CPU's didn't exist yet if I'm not mistaken.

Which processor are you using? If 14th gen then not works great with i9 13900k i9 13900ks. I just got another EVGA Z690 Dark Kingpin it's such an fantastic board. I do agree at least update the bios too support Intel APO and for the baseline profile too as i9 13900k has that issue and I also have had issues with games crashing on my i9 13900k. I did get an second one. I OC too 5.6ghz now doesn't seem too happen now fingers crossed of course. Intel is forcing all manufactures board partners too update the bios so EVGA will have too be releasing an bios update for the board very soon; God Willing anyway.

I have a i5 13600K its a good mid processor but I want a 14th gen i9 for my flight simulator. It's not going to happen with this board I'm stuck with the one I have unless I upgrade to a 13th gen i7 0r 9 which isn't that much better than the one I have. Oh well, it is what it is maybe Ill sell this board with the processor then buy a new board. I'm a little disappointed with EVGA, If I had known they were going to not support for this board I would of bought something else.

If end users new they were not going to support Raptor refresh, I don't think anyone would have bought the boards. Then again, end users were lucky Raptor refresh even came out.
