There may have been voltage adjustments between versions and you may need to make changes to find stability. You can also try to flash 2.01 to a different bios switch position and then check to see if it actually is stable. If so, see what voltages everything was running at and then try to replicate that in the newer bios. It's also possible you were on the hairy edge or only stable in certain games, but would have see crashes elsewhere.

Ok, sounds good. I was just curious if others were seeing any changes in stability. Seems like others have seen other mobo's have better stability but this mobo has been out A LONG time so I am not surprised other z790 boards have better stability. I will start tweaking RAM to see what can be done.

Quick question for anyone -

New to boards with multiple bioses.  I currently have BIOS 2 active on the switch rocker and updated to 2.12.  Curious when flashing BIOS, does it update all three bioses or just the active one?

Not for your current hardware. If you wanted to go to 4000-series Nvidia cards I would say yes. There was an update that fixed some issues there.

No, i don't want to upgrade to 4000-series Nvidia cards. 3080 Ti is very good, because it's a EVGA!

Bruh.   There won't be a bios for 14th gen.
