Does anyone have any profiles they would be willing to share with me ? This is my 5th 13900k and only one able to boot above 8000 on this board. My 12900ks had a much nicer IMC. For me it seems leaving my SA on auto results in no boot. Playing with the new 8000 lumi daily profile. I have to set the SA at 1.25 to boot up. In memtest lots or error 2 and 6. Which I believe is IMC and poor voltage timeout.

Timings can be found here. Don’t forget to set tRFCpb. The power saving timing settings at the very bottom of the right column on MemTweakIt can be ignored. To use these settings you absolutely need active memory cooling and good fresh air going to your sticks. For stress testing you need to complete y-cruncher VST and TM5 ABSOLUT. During y-cruncher I’d advise having your CPU clocked and volted as conservatively as possible with E-cores disabled as well to further save current draw.

I just moved to water ;p using the 6400 g skill a die kit. I also have a Gskill 7800 aide kit that I want to return if I can get this one 7800 + stable. Theoretically if it boots there should be a way to stabilize the frequency right ? Using the byski kit with Arctic thermal pads.

Water cooling is amazing, honestly wish I could do the same but things aren’t really making that a possibility for me right now. The 820A kit is a W, I’m guessing you grabbed it around $210-220? You may as well return the 7800s unless you got them for cheap. So many of the high-bin kits aren’t even capable of their rated XMP that I just wouldn’t even bother paying the extra $100-200 as the binning quality won’t be more than 200MT/s, and that doesn’t even account for the IMC which is actually the biggest factor from the samples and data I’ve collected from people I speak to online. Your i9 might be stuck at 7600 like my i7. According to QXE, the Z790 Apex helps to maximise even the worst IMCs. I would highly recommend keeping your cheap kit and trying to get 7600 working with these settings. I have the exact same kit.

I actually have gotten 7600 stable on air, since I switched to water I’m still stuck ;p using your info though to tweak my 7800
Profile since I played with the Pl and mc im actually getting 7 min into occt without error temps hitting like 40c. I usually use tm5 and occt. I will switch to y cruncher though!

VST is just really useful to get past initial IMC instability. PLLs and ODTs are huge though. The ODTs especially I’ve found to significantly impact DRAM voltage requirements.

I’ve been playing with your profile mr.fox all week. No luck ;p

Yeah don't you just love the silicon lottery? It really sucks.

You have M- or A-die?

A die, 6400 g skill and 7800. I think it’s my 13900k. 12900ks was much easier to get stable for me.
